Q. Who was the first mayor of Pasadena?

Pasadena was incorporated in 1886. Its first form of government was a Board of Trustees. The presiding officer of the Board was the President who was given the courtesy title of Mayor. The first mayor was  H.J. Holmes (1886-1887) .
