The library does have the printed volumes of the 1930 Census.  They are kept in a basement storage room and must be retrieved by library staff (2 at a time).  While the Central Library is closed for earthquake retrofit and building repairs, you will need to contact library staff at any location for assistance and options for reviewing these volumes.

The 1930 census volumes can also be viewed from home, courtesy of the U.S. Census Bureau. The files can be opened for viewing only or saved to your computer, if you wish.  Downloading times may vary.
