Q. Who currently owns the Camp Fire Girls Camp at the end of Fair Oaks Avenue?

We do not have any specific information on this property, which is actually located in Altadena, a community that is north of Pasadena.  According to our clipping files on the Camp Fire Girls, the property was known for a time as Camp Chiquita. The last time the Los Angeles Times refers to the camp in a 1982 article which mentions the camp is being leased by the Pasadena Unified School District as a camp for children with emotional health issues.  Currently, a Camp Fire Girls web site mentions a Camp Mariposa in Altadena, but it is not clear where in Altadena this camp is located or whether this camp is in any way related to Camp Chiquita.
