From the Library Catalog webpage, use the "Advanced" search tab at the top of the screen.

If you like to search for movies, put in "drama" or "film" in the General Keyword field. Or put in a subject for the dvds.  If you don't have any specific keywords in mind, you can use "videorecording" for a list of all dvds.

  • Refine your search by Limiting the Collections to Video (DVD) and/or location to PAS Central Library
  • The results should have the most current on top.
  • You can also limit the released date to 2011 for current dvds.  (Under "User defined limits," choose Publication Date = 2011 )

You can use similar strategy for cds.  You limit to Music CD or Audio Book CD to refine your search.  Hope these tips helps and please give us a call or stop by the Library when you get the chance.  We'll be happy to walk you through the steps and help you with your searches.
